While video games are notorious time wasters, Dream Venture actually teaches you time management. You'll learn how to manage your time, decide upon goals, and prioritize tasks - all while navigating a realistic environment, guided by Brian Tracy himself.
The adventure takes place in a futuristic pyramid building set in a fantasy landscape. The object of Dream Venture is to ascent through the pyramid of increasingly difficult levels. Each level has a learning theme based on one of Brian Tracy's teachings, such as "Planning and Organizing" and "Working with Others." The learning events take place in various interactive formats, such as teleconferences, multimedia seminars or presentations, a library, and meetings. Throughout the adventure, you must prioritize tasks, solve time-management puzzles, answer skill-building questions, and deal effectively with unplanned encounters - all while learning new and useful success skills.
You "win" Dream Venture if you complete the sixth level of the pyramid with time remaining in your Time Bank. Once you have completed the simulation, you can record your score in the "Top Achievers" list (the "score" being the amount of time you had remaining in the final countdown at the end of the adventure). Play to beat your own score or somebody else's.
