The Leader’s Notes for each segment
provide you with:
An Introduction that you may read or paraphrase prior to starting the tape.
An overview of key ideas on which your students may focus
Debriefing questions that may be use to generate discussion following the tape
Instructions for leading an application activity to practices implementing the principles
and
A challenge that you may read or paraphrase to close your learning session.
In addition to the Student’s Activity pages, we have included a “Check-Up from The Neck-Up”
a “Winner’s Pact” and a “Graduation Certificate.”
You may duplicate these as many times as
you would like for use throughout the program. Helpful hints for you, as a Leader, have
also been included.
We recommend that you use the “Check-Up from The Neck-Up” as a pre-evaluation form and a
post-evaluation form, but it can be used at the end of each lesson if you wish.
This is not
a test so please do not collect these from your learners. It is to be used as a measuring
stick so the learners can see how they are doing.
